“The record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son (descendant) of David, the son (descendant) of Abraham: Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers [who became the twelve tribes of Israel]. Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez was the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram. Ram was the father of Aminadab, Aminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon. Salmon was the father of Boaz by Rahab, Boaz was the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse. Jesse was the father of David the king. David was the father of Solomon by Bathsheba who had been the wife of Uriah. Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asa. Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah. Uzziah was the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah. Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, and Amon the father of Josiah. Josiah became the father of Jeconiah [also called Coniah and Jehoiachin] and his brothers, at the time of the deportation (exile) to Babylon. After the deportation to Babylon: Jeconiah became the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel. Zerubbabel was the father of Abihud, Abihud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor. Azor was the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud. Eliud was the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob. Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, by whom Jesus was born, who is called the Messiah (Christ). So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen; from David to the Babylonian deportation (exile), fourteen generations; and from the Babylonian deportation to the Messiah, fourteen generations.”
‭‭MATTHEW‬ ‭1:1-17‬ ‭AMP

In this passage of scripture we find that Jesus came through a genealogical mixture of people as some of us. We have ancestors that have made bad choices, mistakes, accomplishments, failures, victories and somethings we don’t ever want to tell anyone but they are our People! In Jesus Lineage,  there was a line of disobedient, idol worshipping, murdering, adulterous whoremongers, Priest and Kings, but He did not follow their path. No he was a trail blazer, he was without Sin. He forged his path based on his belief and his assignment, so Generational curses did not plague his life! Addiction, perversion, disobedience did not plague his life! So it’s not about where we came from... it’s about us making the right decisions to follow a different path!

Follow your path that Was set before you by God, not the negative examples in your life!

You choose your path, daily with the choices you make! Your Choices decide your outcome! Choose wisely!
