OUR BELIEFS
Whatever position or circumstance you find yourself in, we have the Strategies to assist you in strategically coming out on top of them all. Our approach is from a biblical Soul Care approach. We believe most issues are rooted in a Soul trauma and must be dealt with (by way of Holy Spirit) in honesty and at the root before true healing and wholeness can be manifested in an individual's life.
Here at It’s Your Move, we believe everything we need is found in the foundation of Faith, the principle of Forgiveness, and personal Identity apart from life experiences. We take the approach of Faith because we believe we are (3) Three-part beings, we are a:
1. Spirit
2. Soul
3. Body
I. Spirit- we believe that before time as we know it began, we were a part of a triune being, Father of all creation- God, Elohim, Yahweh, etc., Holy Spirit- Teacher, omnipresent, omniscient and all wise God, and The Son- who became flesh to save sinful man, savior, redeemer, Intercessor, Adonai, wonderful Counselor, comforter, etc.
We believe that God created us in parts as himself: Spirit (Holy) Gen. 1:26-28,
“Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” So, God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.””

II. Soul- we believe God has given us his likeness:
1. Intelligence
2. Reasoning
3. Free will
With his likeness we are creative and have the ability to reason and make our own decisions. He gave us the ability to choose our own paths or to choose the one he has set for us.
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die. "Genesis 2:15-17 NRSV
We were in union with God and intimacy but because of the choice to follow our own path our souls and Spirit separated from each other and there began the internal war. We believe until the Soul is converted (healed, re-educated and enlighten to truth) we will not or cannot come into the truth of our Identity, Authority or power given to us in Genesis chapter 1:26-28.
III. Body- We believe our body is formed from the dust of the ground Gen. 2:7, “then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being.”

Our bodies are merely a vessel which houses our spirit and Soul so that we can live in this earthly domain and walk out God’s ordained purpose for us in the earth. This body is dying daily and is a jar of clay that houses the essence of God and our identity. We must care for our bodies because they are the vehicles in which the will of God is done in the earth through humankind.
When our Spirit and Soul are at war with each other it causes fragmentation, a loss of identity, disconnection and separation from our spiritual selves and the likeness of the father. Bad decisions, emotional instability, mental confusion and even Disease and infirmity can stem from this fragmentation. The only way to bring healing is to defragment the soul (mind, will, emotions) of the person that they may walk in healing.
So, in every aspect of Counseling/ Coaching we implement Prayer, the Word of God and introduce our clients to the Holy Spirit, who knows the mind, will and the heart of God towards that individual, who can also lead us in the best strategies or approaches considering their unique goals, circumstances and/or life experiences. There is hope, and we are here to help you to have hope again.
